A Note From Our Worship Leader........
It is my privilege to serve as the pastor of Cartecay Baptist Church. Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, sound doctrine, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. My dream, vision, and prayer for Cartecay Baptist is for us to make God's will the center of our life. God empowers us to be what He wants us to be when we follow Him. I feel the work of a Pastor as an under-shepherd of Christ's flock is to help equip them for the work of the ministry God has in mind for us.
Pastor E. Davis Lacey was called to serve Cartecay Baptist as Interim pastor in September, 2005 and was called by the church to begin service as Senior Pastor in September 2007. His partner in life and service is Phyllis and she is a vital part of his ministry. They have previously served churches in Ellijay, Hiawassee, Lavonia, and Summerville, Ga.
